The original indicators of water quality changes in aquaculture, such as the color of pond water and the patterns created by paddlewheel aerators, will now be identified by AI through image recognition. This advancement will significantly reduce electricity and feed costs during the aquaculture process.

It took 3 years of collaboration with academic and research institutions, followed by 2 more years of precise calibration research led by Professor Liu Jian-Sheng and his team from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Cheng Kung University. The entire process took 5 years to complete and resulted in an international journal publication.
